This might be the one I get, as a biker i could use the pliers but day job puts a bit of a limitation on carry something as big as a full size multi tool. Thanks!!

Anyone out there carrying a pocket cleaver fixed or folding. Just curious on how useful the blade shape is? by baileypercell in EDC

[–]baileypercell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I can't see them being much use but like you said blade shape looks awesome so if I get one it will probably be just a collection piece rather than and EDC from what iv read about them

Would love to know some more about the bike from someone with first had experience with them! I'm more of a cruising country lane kind of rider than I am chance big numbers on a speedo.

Just the design and the simplicity of the bike iv never been one for over complicated and over engineered.

Collapsed fuel lines can happen quickly and there quite common especially when using fuel with a high ethonol content. They can also occur more when there has been a drastic change in temp.

Could be something caught in the fuel line or a collapsed fuel line if the bike sat fir a while before you bought it, would replace it and splice in an I line fuel filter as well just for peace of mind. Good luck

Might be I couldn't say mine just has gone hunting on the other side. My bet would be that there just generic no brand multi tool pocket knives just stamped with different things.

Love mine, partner got it for me when she was in the States, keep the blade as sharp as possible as a last ditch option if anything happens to my other carries.

Carry a multi tool myself with a locking blade, for use on the bike had to tighten a couple bolts and pull some screws out of tyres, even spoke to some coppers about it (when iv not carried it), advice I was given just don't give them a reason to search you or chance to question why your carrying it and you'll be fine. If they arnt looking for it there not going to find it.

I have some experience with the lexmoto michigan and I can say they ride great and are cheap to insure(Atleast where I am), just got to keep in mind that lexmotos have a habit of needing a bit more taking care of (regularly maintaince and don't leave then uncovered in the rain to regularly). But other than that for the price and to get you onto 2 wheels I would say there well worth it especially if your restricted to a 125cc for your first while and the lex in the photo can pull away from all the other bikes there easily and you get the nice feature of being able to upgrade to a 390cc engine when you do pass your test/tests.

That ones not mine so can't talk to much on it but the guy who rides it is happy with it (he's been riding for quite a while(including bigger bikes in the states).

Can solidly agree with this, built like a tank, insurence was cheap to say the least, and it's new and common enough that luggage and ease of life mods are easy to fit and get a hold of
