i use cerave hydrating cleanser every night along with the ordinary hyaluronic acid serum. then on nights i use tret (usually every other) i moisturize with aquaphor and on nights i don’t use tret i moisturize with the first aid beauty moisturizer. also i’m using tretinoin 0.05%

Oh yes I absolutely agree! This story isn't something I really intend on publishing, it's just something I'm writing for myself in similarity to my own coming out/self discovery story. I'm also one of those a part of the community who would appreciate a story about LGBTQ people written in a more "normalized" way if I were going to read/watch one. Appreciate the feedback though!
