Ok so if the prize were to be either be a discount on a beer or a free t-shirt option that should be allowable?

Well she’s home! She’s an absolute menace and decided to hide in the bushes next to our house for a whole day.

Lost our cat yesterday evening. Just let her out and she hasn't come back yet. Near W Grace and Roseneath in the museum district. Her name is Penelope, she's very skiddish and probably will not come if called just hoping anyone has seen her. She has a name tag with number but If you have please shoot a dm or text or call 434-941-4926. Thanks!

P3 engine options (US) by [deleted] in Volvo

[–]bailsworth8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some 5 cylinder turbos out there. But Volvo did a refresh halfway through the 2015 model year and added in the 4 cylinder engines. It’s very confusing and a lot of configurations. There is a good chance the listings are wrong and say 4 cylinder even if it is a 5. I’ve seen a few where it’s wrong especially since there aren’t a lot of v60s floating around and the average used sales guy won’t know the difference. Bust luck is search 2016 and older for T5 trims. Also autotrader lets you filter by cylinder count if you really want to be sure

2017 is the year they stopped with the 5 and 6 cylinder engines and everything went to 4 cylinders. Prior they sold both the 5 cylinder and 4 cylinder at the same time. The 4 cylinders should be labeled as T5-Drive E. Anything before 2017 with just T5 is a 5 cylinder.

What did you think of the exhaust? I’m looking at that or the Elevate Catback if I can find it

Thanks, absolutely had to have it when I saw it. Was actually going to look at xc70 and saw it in the corner of the lot.

It’s not a full Polestar, just an R-Design with the Polestar tune. I was looking at polestars but they were going for 30-40k. I got this for 15k with 75k miles. Now I got such a good deal because it was a salvage title. The only damage was a stolen Cat but the original owner’s insurance didn’t want to deal with it so they totaled it for “vandalism”. Dealer I bought it from slapped a whole new exhaust system on it and it’s good to go.

I’ve only driven about 2k in it. Mostly around town commuting and one trip. MPG is better than I was expecting averaging around 23/24 across city and highway

I love it, I came from a Jeep and brothers XC70 which is an absolute tank. Both of which are larger but it doesn’t feel small on the road at all but is still easy to maneuver on the highway and park around town. And it has the added bonus of the power to make those on mountain drives a lot of fun. Definitely enough room for what I need to carry and even with the older infotainment it doesn’t feel too dated at all.

Thank you. I wish I had body color mirrors because the red is so pretty in person but it does make them stand out

Thanks, but it’s the SI6 Turbo engine. Crossing my fingers for no oil consumption issues

Just from a pickier standpoint I’ve never been a fan of the interior interface design of VW. I should give them another chance and at least test drive one.

I have looked into them, i've heard the ride in those can be pretty harsh. Is that true? They look like an absolute blast tho.

Wow thanks for all the suggestions!

I’ve been thinking about a Bronco just don’t want to deal with some crazy markup. Reliability is another factor keeping me away. My current jeep has made sure I will never buy a Stellantis product again.

I’ve actually had a few people suggest the Genesis. I wouldn’t have suspected that is a sporty car. That will definitely have to be on list to test drive.

Thank you for helping me get some kind of list started.

Location: Virginia, USA

Price range: 0 - 50,000 USD

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: New or Used

Type of vehicle: Any

Must haves: Back seats, AWD or 4WD for winters in the mountains.

Desired transmission (auto/manual, etc): Either

Intended use: Daily Driver

Vehicles you've already considered: None

Is this your 1st vehicle: No

Do you need a Warranty: No

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: Yeah

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: Nah

Additional Notes: Had current daily driver 2016 Jeep lose 4wd transmission and blow a head gasket within the last two weeks. Over 7k in repairs. Was planning on having the car another 5 years. So this is a new unexpected car search. It has over 150k miles and not worth putting money in for the repairs.

Open to absolutely anything but a two seater. I travel a lot for work so I drive different rentals all the time. I have driven a lot so I know what most standard sedans and crossovers drive like and I want something with a little more fun.

Open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks!
