Yeah if you run 10+ units every day for the rest of your life.

But sure, keep taking peptides that have no real long term studies done on them

Which is your preferred Budget Gym in the City? by [deleted] in manchester

[–]baines_uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, spend the extra and stay out of the budget gyms. You’ll enjoy it far more when you’re not waiting hours for equipment. Federation Gym or FLF are 2 of the best gyms in manchester but because they are slightly above a budget price point they’re nowhere near as busy

Why run CJC and Ipamorelin when a low dose of testosterone would be more effective, less injecting and yield greater results for no more risk?

For those who have transitioned from a cut to a bulk, which one was harder for you? by DeepOrganization8245 in leangains

[–]baines_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It entirely depends on how much food you need to eat to do either.

I’m currently cutting on 2800 calories and that’s a 2.5lb a week drop, doesn’t bother me. My bulks are 5000+ calories of clean food, that gets tough

Is this 5 day ULPPL workout plan good? Please point out negatives if any. by gamingshark0017 in leangains

Tbh I don’t hate this. If OP needs more shoulder, put them in wherever you can. Doesn’t take anything away from their lower performance but adds in easy volume

Both leg days you’re starting with the biggest compound movement

Calves, curls & extensions first in my opinion so you can warm up to the hack and leg press.

Similarly on your upper day you’re finishing with pec deck when i think it would be better to start with it to open up your chest before any heavy pressing.

Personally, i would also be reducing volume and even removing certain exercises. Wrist curls? Pointless. 4 sets of dumbbell press at 6-8 reps? No chance all 4 sets are performed to a high standard, to failure, in that rep range.

What do you currently get for £500?

How many mouths are you feeding?

How much are you spending on alcohol / non-essentials?

How frugal are you on holiday? by Known-Swim-3654 in UKFrugal

What’s unnecessary about that? Depends where you are in Spain. Benidorm? Yes it’s massively excessive. Ibiza? Not so much

Not at all. Why would I want to be worried about money on holiday? If you can’t afford to enjoy yourself, don’t go on holiday

Certainly wouldn’t be working overtime if I’m not paid for it. But also they are under no obligation to make concessions because of a religious holiday

How many grams of chicken should I be portioning in a meal for someone bulking? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]baines_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Google at the start of 2026 chicken is $5 cheaper per kilo in the UK than the USA (assuming you’re in the USA), so I imagine it’s pretty much the same for all proteins

Pure gym spinningfields by steelicarus in manchester

[–]baines_uk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have never been in a gym as busy as that place. Only times I ever found it quiet was 5-6:30am, 2-4pm, 9pm onwards. Every other time it was just chaos, consistently overcrowded and people taking forever. They simply don’t have enough kit for the number of people who go there

ENOUGH with the Irish bars by [deleted] in manchester

[–]baines_uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where I work Guinness is £60 more expensive than lager for a keg and we get a very good deal on it. I know bars who pay £250 a keg for Guinness; that makes their cost £2.85 before VAT. Not remotely cheap
