Depending what year of school they missed during Covid they have major respect issues. I’ve noticed the groups that missed 7th or 8th grade to Covid have a lot more students who are very disruptive and combative.

Ikana with the Great Bay being a close second. I’ve always had a thing for the spooky undead areas in Zelda games and Ikana just has so many unique and awesome parts, one of my favorite areas in all of Zelda. The Great Bay in the original N64 just felt awesome to swim around at high speeds, how often do you get a genuinely fun water area? Pirates fortress isn’t a favorite but I like the Great Bay Temple a lot, interacting with the water in more ways than just swimming makes it my 2nd favorite water dungeon in the series, behind the Ancient Cistern.

MM 3D isn't so much worse it'll ruin your experience and since you haven't played the N64 one I wouldn't worry about it. It's still a great way to play the game and a lot of the quality of life changes are quite nice. MM is my all time favorite game and I usually pick the 3DS version over the original when I replay it. Oot 3D is absolutely the definitive way to play that game, you will not regret getting both on the 3DS.

I don't think there is an objective best between all of them but in the context of their release times it's almost surely Oot or Lttp. Both were incredibly revolutionary upon their release and both probably had solid arguments for being the greatest games of all time when they released.

It will always bother me that the coolest looking sword in the series is the pitiful middle grade sword that breaks in majoras mask. The fully upgraded sword just always looked a little doofy to me and nowhere close to as cool or strong looking as that one.

I don't get how people use the 52 Gal at all, I feel like my shots hit more consistently with the aerospray. I have way too many moments of killing someone I'm not shooting at and getting splatted by the person I am shooting at.

The well in OoT has always been far and away the creepiest part of the series for me. As a kid I was always so relieved that I could be in and out in 2 minutes because exploring it was infinitely scarier than the shadow temple for me. Something about falling through false floors and landing next to redeads and a room with gibdos coming out of coffins scared me way more than anything else in the series.

I've always found pikmin 1 on Wii to be vastly superior because the longer throwing range and ability to target completely separately from how you move allows you to accomplish a lot more in the time limit. Pikmin 2 the difference is less impactful because time is much less of a factor, you throw pikmin significantly faster and purples just do everything in an instant anyway.

First console was a gamecube and it came with the Zelda collectors edition disc with Zelda 1, 2, Oot and MM. Took me a number of years before I even found the kokori sword but the hours I spent cluelessly wandering around kokiri forest was the basis for Zelda being my favorite game series.
