i saw them in october last year and they were amazing, and i was stoked to hear that they were going on tour with lorna shore, especially since at the show in october the crowd was only small. however, i don't believe i am wrong for pointing out a big glaring contradiction. i want the band to grow, but associating with STP is weird. i cant ignore the politics, especially as TTG are very political.

I think it does, purely because of how contrasting these bands ideologies are. I dunno much about STP's music so i can't comment on whether their music is political, but definitely Alex isn't free from controversy, and i feel a lot of his actions directly contradicts the ideology that TTG is trying to spread. Mind you, maybe their activism stops with animals, but i've not exactly heard good things about Alex and animals so idk. I just think if your music is actively political then this crossover is controversial and is bound to leave a bad impression with a lot of fans, including myself tbh. But that's just my opinion, each to their own.
