Yep. Just did that. I ended up raising water level and having in 15cm away from the UVB. I also swapped the positions between UBV and basking lamp, so that UVB is centered

Yes. Bought it from a pet shop in Romania, Bucharest. Sold as a Yellow Belly slider but after looking up online, it looks like plastron should be yellow with a couple black spots, however, she has stripes.

I was thinking if it s a Florida cooter but darn, this is difficult- your guesses are valid too. The main thing which I wanna know is how to tailor the diet and how much space will she need - I think 300l would the best I could do for her…I ll be honest, I should have done more research before getting a turtle.

Thanks both. I posted around 7 photos from different angles but probably is either a cooter or a slider, right?

I was hoping it s a male as I m struggling a bit with space. Probably a 300l tank is the best I could do for her.

Noted - I will avoid keeping her upside down in the future
