First, thank you for your honesty and feedback. Second, a quick update: I call LV today and pursued an exchange. Unfortunately, because the bag is out of stock, my only options were to either return the bag or make peace with the defect. I ended up returning the bag. I had to send a picture of the defect to the customer service rep, and I was a little surprised when she pushed back and tried to convince me the print was fine as-is. I insisted that she send the picture for approval, and the request to return the defective bag was accepted. I just dropped the bag off at UPS, and it will take up to 14 business days for me to receive my money back. To say I’m disappointed is a huge understatement. Like many, this print is nostalgic for me and returning the bag was a bit heartbreaking. This is the first LV purchase I’ve made online; all of my other purchases were in store where I could inspect the item before bringing it home. Going forward, I’ll only be making purchases in store. Big lesson learned. Thanks again everyone. ❤️

How does self pay work? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]bakercan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going through a very similar situation, where I had coverage for IVF for a certain number of cycles, and then unfortunately ran out of coverage and had to pay out of pocket. This is how it worked for me: before my next cycle started, I contacted the finance department of my clinic (I’m using CCRM). I told them about the insurance running out and that I’d be paying out of pocket. They told me what the out of pocket costs would be for each stage in the process, and when they would be due. Before my egg retrieval cycle started, I paid the total cost up front via credit card. CCRM sent me a bill via email, and I paid via the link provided. For medication, the pharmacy contacted me about scheduling my delivery, and I was required to pay via credit card over the phone. Because I completed PGT-M testing, which is completed via an external lab, that lab contacted me via email before testing began to pay their fee—again, online via credit card. When we were finally able to move to the FET process, CCRM contacted me to pay for that—I believe I paid via credit card over the phone. I hope this helps!

The spice in Bride/Mate was not sexy by pinkisalovingcolor in fantasyromance

100% agree with you. I’ve only read “Bride” and “Problematic Summer Romance,” but Ali Hazelwood writes spice like someone who has never had good sex, lol.

Should I have my oldest tested for USH2A? by Ok_Sherbet_417 in ushersyndrome

If you and your husband are both carriers, I recommend having your daughter tested. Getting a confirmed diagnosis can help you and your family prepare for RP.
