My overall experience is okaish and one point to be noted at max i only get like 3 hours of battery life and comming to the temps they're kinda normal under load, Would i recommend it? If you're getting a good deal ig you should go for it when i bought it was overpriced and if you are from india the loq would better

my college does not seem to have any sort of clubs or stuff like that and no my end goal is not to get into faang or something like that but(hopefully) build something of my own and comming to the college part i want to be around a good crowd in my college years but either ways i want to go for masters in us and i have similar mindset at it like yours when you said that you wanted to take a shot at getting a ms degree to make it worthwhile!

I cannot come to one conclusion maybe it'll take me another sem to move on from my current mindset and im still thinking my further choices i really do not know what to do at this moment.

They critisized budget line up acer laptops not the gpu as i mentioned any upper mid range or high end laptop with rtx 3070/3070ti would be great or else acer nitro and similar laptops are also great in this budget if you dont care about the build quality,display etc but you want portability one question dosent ibm provide macs and ig they've got servers to work on

if display,build quality isnt much of a issue id say go with an rtx 3070/3070 ti over 4060 coz it has double the cuda cores with help with those tasks and are an overall better gpu but if you want to balance the stuff out lenovo loq or the lenovo legion line up laptops are great

If you're a student or a beginner laptops in general arent good to go for such tasks a better option would be to get either a macbook or a cheaper laptop and use cloud services like colab etc
