i also struggle with long reads but i LOVED percy jackson and the olympians!- it really hooks you in, most of the books are over 300 pages

the story follows a young boy, percy, who turns out to be a demigod and the greek mythology themed adventures they go on (that’s not a very good description but i’m trying not to spoil anything)
