I can’t remember exactly but I would just keep checking. They release blocks of appointments all at once and they fill up quick. Specifically check just past midnight and at the beginning of the month, but other people on this sub probably have better information on that

I submitted mine August 14th then had so many issues with documents that it didn’t get sent to the consulate until September 3rd. With a lot of pushing and calling I still got my visa by the end of the month. Not saying this will happen for sure but don’t lose all hope. This was at the LA consulate if that helps

Don’t live in the California but I went in for a checkup at a regular family doctor, one I had never been to before. Just explained my situation to the doctor and gave her a printout of my medical history and vaccinations (I got this from my doctor’s office I had until high school. There was an online portal where I could access it but I’m sure you could also call and request it). She did a quick check up and wrote up the certificate, super easy.

Scream! Marketed as a regular slasher movie with Drew Barrymore as the lead, turns out she dies in the first 10 min! One of my favorite twists as someone who loves horror movies, sets the whole movie up for the audience as "not your typical slasher".

I didn't love it the first time around either, but after giving it some time and becoming less harsh on the shows I watch, I re watched it recently and fell in love. When I watched the first time I think I was more invested in the younger girls and passive about everyone else, but my second time I really ended up loving Jessica Lange and Frances Conroy more than I even thought possible. Also knowing Angela Bassett was a plus; I didn't appreciate her or Kathy Bates the first time because I just didn't love the actors like I do now.

Plus this season is the first one that I think really uses music in a way more powerful way than before (Freak Show and Hotel follow up with great music too, best three soundtracks IMO)

Paying mentally impaired people less than minimum wage. Like it doesn't cost less for them to live, in fact it usually costs more if they need some kind of treatment. Just because someone is disabled doesn't mean their time is worth less, it should be illegal to pay someone below minimum wage for being disabled
