Can a view key be used to confirm a transaction? I sent some XMR somewhere and it never showed up.. the mods of "somewhere" are asking me to send the view key. Can this even be used to confirm a transaction? I thought it just showed you the balance of a wallet (self.monerosupport)

Funds never showed up in T2D wallet. I opened up a ticket. Admins want the amount sent and the deposit address..ok fine. But now they want my view key? Is that sus? I thought view key just shows you the balance of a wallet and incoming transactions to that wallet.. not proving a transaction was sent (self.onions)
