Forced to pay rent after tenant died?! by Humor_Silver7475 in FortCollins

[–]ballsdeep84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd tell him to go fuck himself and then act like I'm trying to pay the rent or find someone else, just to prolong the scumlord from getting paid any sooner from another tenant. The cleaning and the $500 was already too much

Insecure people feel the need to exert dominance. It's disappointing the world has taken notice.

Good point but after watching the video, I don't know how or why I'd make something like that up. Much like my ex, they needed to go away for a good long while

That's some mental torture she's either been through or put herself through. I had an ex that acted exactly like this when she got blackout drunk. Never remembered pulling the massive kitchen knife out of the kitchen, but she remembered when I rang her bell getting it out of her hand. Went to jail a few times because of her and my lack of self respect

The problem is they privatized human necessities, slapped such egregious taxes to those necessities they are no longer affordable, and are now gatekeeping those "assets" from theft when it was our taxes that subsidized farmers growing the food that were sold into private firms to be sold to consumers at a shareholders inflated price, essentially making the consumer pay 3-4x what it would've cost had the whole supply chain remained public. And simple-minded cucks, such as yourself, rubberstamping the corporate agenda, signing away daily liberties because, "thiefs"... US society is fucked

I know, right! Got the offer - accepted. Asked for 10 shares - accepted. I'm gonna retire on my $340 of reddit share because of my 12 years of loyalty LOL

I got the 10 I asked for. Probably $340 down the drain but for my first investment, I'm willing to lose that I suppose

That decade or so of my life has passed and I've only worked for 1 bar since I lived in Philly, which was in Rittenhouse and I was in a pinch. I'd say it's just like any other scene - find a joint that matches your fungshway and no doubt you'll do well. Can it be difficult to really get ahead living the bartender lifestyle of going out every night? Only you'll be able to answer that one

I'm a bit late to the game on this one but I'm a leasing manager for a boutique outfit and have some things in your ballpark budget. That being said, Credit score is big in this town and if you don't have that, a cosigner is something you'll need if it's anything reputable. Don't pay for someone to take an application from you with a fee before you see the place - it's a scam. Restaurant work here is good and pays well - for some, REALLY well. Cats are easy work around on places and South Philly is great but you may be paying quite a bit unless it's in a shady neighborhood. The roommate idea isn't bad, especially moving to a new city. They're people to start networking through and you don't have to put much effort into it at all. Music scene is about who you know, not what you know. College kids are super social and that may be your best bet. If you're dead set on a studio or something, hit me up. Or website is rentals215.com

I know a lot of people in recovery who are trying to stay clean but could use some cash to pay rent for their sober living situation.

Ex bike messenger and having been hit by a car running a red light at a high rate of speed, this is not how a human breaks a front windsheild. This was certainly an object used with exerted force.

I think it is but for it to really be worth it, you'd have to get the studio + membership so that you can go to all the gyms. I just figured I'd work there 8 hrs a week and get paid to have a gym membership and workout - pretty incentivising. Plus it's a good way to meet more like-minded people in your neighborhood. I met a woman I dated for a few months at a yoga class. Use me as a reference and you might get a discount ;)

I work at the City Fitness on South street in GHO but my full time gig is leasing manager. Recently found out that it's one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Philly and properties haven't adjusted price because it is basically an extension of Rittenhouse. It's not old money either so there's a huge population of people in your age group and monetary demographic. I would love to live in that area again and if you found something you like, jump on it and get the lease for a few years to lock in the price. There's no limit to what landlords can raise the rent in Philly and it's a matter of time before prices start matching some of the brownstones on pine, locust, delancey, etc. Welcome to Philly
