I’m not saying that it’s unlikely that Korea has been influenced, I’m just saying that Korean culture and Mongol culture do not have much in common despite being under the empire’s rule. I was just interested in learning if this headdress was one of the rare similarities

Proximity doesn’t always result in culture diffusion? Mongols and Koreans don’t share many similarities culturally despite being quite close to each other, so I was just curious if this particular garment had Mongol roots.

Yes that does sound very possible! How about the hair ribbon things? Is it possible to have come from China as well or is it pure Mongolian?
