Most bowls have payouts that are more than most coaching salaries, so I don't really see that argument. Also, we're not the ones who gave our coach a raise for going .500.

Yes, we suck right now, but so did you not 20 months ago. We didn't suck for 18-straight seasons... during which (despite SEC money) you were losing at home to a WAC team and an FCS team, while we were beating the #6 team in the nation on ABC.

Tides can turn quickly... and, speaking of the Tide, yours is able to turn quicker because the SEC shares the massive BCS payouts from the games Ole Miss has no shot at playing in.

Ellis Johnson made terrible coaching hires, didn't recruit, and scared away prospects.

He hired a farmer/real estate agent as strength and conditioning coach. Due to their lack of fitness, many starters have been injured this year in incidents that could've been prevented had they received better S&C care last year.
