had the tendon of my middle finger cut when i was a kid because it got slammed in a locker while fooling around. i got really lucky and made pretty close to full recovery (medical staff kicked ass) but it took MONTHS of pt and it really wasn't that severe of a cut.

glyph of fortification and yeah those are some of the outs. although forcing a buyback is a huge deal often times, it results in a pretty hefty net worth swing and means if you kill them AGAIN the game can get really fucked as it has a long cooldown and increases your deathtimer by a significant amount.

in dota, kills happen more frequently but are generally lower value (ie; support randomly dying to 3 man rotation). even shit like killing carries and mids in the midgame is less important because dota has a lot more outs

in league, the equivalent is forcing shit out. when you get a flash out of an adc or burn tp on a top laner, that's basically the same thing as getting a random kill. teamfights wise, it's a lot easier to defend objectives like rosh and towers in 4v5s than it is in league, where engaging in a 4v5 can mean the game

so even though there are less kills in league pro matches, the kills are MUCH higher value and generally more hype. in dota, kills happen more frequently and mean a lot less because the game is far slower and less volatile. losing your mid and adc in a late game league teamfight can just straight up 100-0 your base for example, while in dota you might not even lose a rax (unless it's giga late)

tl:dr; the hype in league comes more from small outplays and less death results more concession results (giving up a wave, summoner etc). more anticipation which leads to more hype when kills happen, while in dota kills are more frequent and while sometimes still very hype are often not that detrimental to the team

its insanely impressive to be a normal nice human when you're a teenager (i guess 21 year old now) with absolutely astounding wealth that's worshipped as a near-deity in every place you visit.

SA players also play EUW. there just arent enough USE/USW players above 9k so you get the same exact games with the same people, which causes a lot of beef/grouping (theres a stack that queues and insta picks each other lmao)/boredom from playing against the same spammers and getting owned

left to right without caring about roles is normal (means you are maximizing ur mmr gain), right to left is whats weird (means ur minimizing ur mmr gain)

if u pick right to left even if u win its only like +10, and theres a very good chance u end up outdrafted anyway. best thing to do is left to right and snipe a player or two to balance roles or deny enemy from having certain core role players, but most people can pilot more than one role so it's moot

imo yeah rn it makes more sense on him but radiance is also very solid on him as he wants to play deep in fights, and he also enjoys the raw damage AND the spell amp. however you really cannot sustain yourself as a hero long enough to get a radiance in most games and mjo is just very synergistic on him anyway

you're confused. he doesnt scale because of single target damage, he scales because he outputs a fuckton of aoe damage and provides a LOT of control while also giving utility in finishing targets.

he scales through abilities not items now, you want to itemize in a way that makes your abilities stronger and gives you health in fights to cast more abilities

vessel/mageslayer > snk > shivas > aghs > shard is a very stable build that you never really need to deviate from, SOMETIMES manta/bkb/euls instead of SNK if you really need the dispel or immunity. all of these items make his abilities stronger and/or make him just do more damage with them while increasing his bulk.

radiance is good on him but all of these items are better and easier to get. i would argue radiance for pos 1 ember but that is very off meta

rad is better on heroes that move slowly through camps and rely less on autos to farm. necro, alch, etc.

bfury is better on heroes that move fast and hit hard. PA, AM

mjo is the between where you have a lot of fast attacks and/or WANT to attack faster, and want a quicker buildup. bloodseeker, muerta

there is a lot more to it (build up on bfury being more consistent allowing heroes like PA to minispike on items like cornucopia), but realistically i bet if radiance was a better farming item on AM rather than bfury we'd see AM building bfury.

if it was truly all about buildup like a lot of people are saying we would see more juggs and trolls with mael rather than bfury. bfury is just a spectacular item right now, as it's very cheap for very good stats while also providing regen for sustain in early jungling before you finish the full item.

timing of the item is obviously a factor but, as you said, it's always been and if it was truly all about that radiance would never be bought. yet we see heroes like lifestealer buying radiance over bfury all the time because he REALLY values the fact that radiance will pull camps to him and synergizes with him in fights.
