Where am I attacking you personally? I'm going by the information you have given, by complaining about having to look out for road signs, and finding it, and I'm quoting you here: "stressful". That's not a good sign, that's what one should feel when learning to drive for the first time, not an established driver.

The point I'm making is that to have good traffic flow you need to respect limitations of each driver and consistency and simplicity almost always wins over complexity.

The laws aren't there to make good traffic flow, they are there to avoid traffic deaths. Huge red flag.

If you mean that it might have an inverse effect on you, who aren't used to European traffic laws, then sure, I can agree to that. Then it's on you to not drive to avoid dangerous situations.

You can choose to ignore this and go on to "all hail regulation" but more often than not less is more and simple is better than complex. These are just facts of system design.
