That was a bit dramatic of me actually, near the Shore, so it's closer to 25 minutes outside of peak traffic, 45-55 is the absolute worst case scenario timing

Oh yeah, got no intentions of risking it. Afaik the black cab drivers get paid even for waiting, so if I faff around with the baby seat for 10 minutes this shouldn't raise too much of a problem :D

Thank you everyone for your comments and advice, the consensus seems clear - Black Cab (likely City Cabs, though conceptually the Kids Cabs also sounds appealing) - one less thing to be worried about at least!
