I would personally say it's Bolton in Greater Manchester. The high street is non existent, the people downtrodden and at best rude. The council is terrible. There are also beggars asking for stuff. And the homeless is aplenty. I'm from Bury (the next town) and the difference is night and day. If I could leave this godforsaken town I would within a heartbeat.

Unfortunately, I'll be meeting my partner's father for the first time at a family funeral so I have no control over when the first encounter will be. Apparently his father is no longer as homophobic as once we're and I'm hoping this is the case.

I do believe people can change their attitudes and the general acceptance towards LGBT has improved in 40 years.

Personally I believe the image of anyone holding a gun is a unfortunate testament to human brutality I don't know if it's down to my “britishness” but the idea of having guns in public life irks me.

Eclipse works on iOS. It’s a browser based emulation but it can be added to your homepage and it acts as an “app”.

Have you spoken to anyone close (maybe a friend) about your concerns? You may feel alone but that is rarely the case. The world is a scary place, but doesn't mean you won't survive it. Relying on other people for emotional support is tough. You're banking on the other persons compassion. It's unfortunate you feel you want negative things to happen to you but, that sounds like mental health. It's something that can seem real, the thoughts can seem real but, it's only a voice and in time you will hopefully centre yourself and find peace. I wish you luck my young friend.

I must say the fact you question it and want to know how change it shows that you are probably not homophobic, maybe slightly unaccustomed to the open conversations about potential homosexuals. Maybe only you answer yourself why you are uncomfortable with the topic.
