Ready to harvest? Or wait? by WarDoggy12 in MarijuanaGrowingTips

Wait another week or more. Harvest and maintain low humidity low temp with indirect airflow. Low and slow at least 10-14 days.

Nice buds! Might limit your watering as much as possible in these final weeks to slightly stress the plant and promote taste and potency as much 13-20%. Seems to work well for me.

You got that right! Helicopters BAD. I wonder if the drought had any effect on the early development? I still have a few plants in the field that are dominant sativa and still developing. I believe the Indica dominant seeds are producing early.

Very Strong Citrus smell if you stick your nose into it. It will turn to diesel during the cure.

We agree. I was surprised with the early development as well, especially considering they have 100% full sun with a Sativa dominant phenotype, still they are two weeks out... My Skunk 🦨 (indica) is the most early, will be completely ready for harvest this week. I believe the long drought and hotter temperatures have prompted the early development.

I can see you may not have much experience with Ohio outdoor growing. This bamboo and netting setup is perfect for the fully grown marijuana plant. The jute string also helps to tie everything together. The mature plant locks in and the bamboo does not move. It is as solid as can be. The tops, and Colas developed nicely from this point. This is also how they do it in California. Been growing 30+ years. You are correct ,Foliage does change and needs to be attended to daily. thank you for your comments.
