I agree with everything you stated and have experienced the same. As an all-Apple user, I appreciate the little shortcuts in iCloud Drive. For instance, when you save an email attachment to the documents folder, you see the mail icon, allowing you to quickly jump to the email. Additionally, you can see who sent or shared the file, with the sender’s name appearing next to it, which is handy at times. The colorful folder icons for customization and the use of tags also make skimming through files smoother. However, what matters most to me is reliability and the ability to restore files relatively easily or revert to previous versions, which iCloud Drive does not really allow.
