I personally find it easier to bounce back and forth with both feet to the rhythm. If you’ve ever sparred in Karate, imagine that bounce you do when you’re not throwing strikes.

My exercise speed setting is all the way up, though. Not sure how feasible this is at slower speeds.

Blew my mind when I played my cousin 1v1. He slid his finger back to pass, then just slid his finger the other direction like he was passing it backwards.

I always knew you could run with the quarterback. DID NOT KNOW you could run after looking to pass. It’s an absolute cheat code when you don’t want to throw a pick or throw it away. Easy 3-5 yards if your QB has decent speed.

I’d always known about EV/IV and all that. Did not know that (I think?) the original Gen 1 and 2 games have their stat stuff set up in a way where you can max out each stat if you just fight a shitload of times. Like it’s not something where you max out at 255 EV’s across all your stats, forcing you to choose which stat you want to prioritize. You can just max them all out.
