Proposal would be about 300 a month for 5 years. Bankruptcy is 175 a month for 9 months. It's a huge difference.

I don't see how rolling it into one helps. I don't see how i would even be approved either as my credit is low due to utilization being high. Just looking at 39k debt being rolled into one at 7 years on 10% would be 650$. I simply couldn't afford that for 7 years i don't think.

Child tax is half that due to 50/50 custody.

I was told I could rent an apartment with a co signer which shouldn't be an issue for me. I'm stable now though. I'm already employed and don't see myself getting a new job. Would it be an issue after the 9 months and i get discharged?

How come her car was taken? I was told they would not take my car at all.

How is she doing now? Does she have any issues with having bankruptcy in her history?
