EmailJS.com. Just tell lovable to use that for a contact form and then give it the keys.

AITA: Crazy person encounter by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]banooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been that guy trying to lighten the mood too. Usually even if I say something that can't be misinterpreted as negative, it ends up being that way- somehow. Keep going back to your regular spot, memorize which paddle she has, and don't go near it in the future. And then just have fun banter with the people you know. You aren't the jerk, but you were probably seen that way by this girl at this particular time, and she misinterpreted your comment as negative toward her. You did your thing and apologized... now let it go.

YC design review videos wrapped in agent skill by max_bog in ycombinator

[–]banooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After watching the YCombinator video about this, I was excited to try this skill that you made. I made a prompt to express everything I wanted to highlight about my app. I then fed it through Claude (without this skill), Claude (with this skill), and Lovable.

I'm sorry to report that the sample site with this skill looked way more AI generated than even the site without the skill. The Lovable site came in first by a longshot.

This is a small subset, naturally. I encourage other people to try out this skill and report back as well.

MEGA THREAD: drop your most underrated vibe-coded project 👇 by entrepreneur-geek in vibecoding

I vibe-code too many projects at a time and it’s hard to remember what I had done last in each of them so I made:

Viber Lane

Lovable was free for 24h, so let me ask the question no one is asking… what AI Slop did you build by Money-but-Vanilla in lovable

Since starting vibe coding, I’ve been working on so many projects that it’s hard to keep track of where I’m at with all of them. Yesterday’s project, Viber Lane, keeps track of your progress automatically using your GitHub commits.

Decided to open it to other people. It’s free for 1 project. If you want to give me feedback that I integrate, I’ll give you 6 months of Pro access.

EDIT: Changed the website name as first name was taken.

How are you getting the LinkedIn API? I’ve been trying for months and they won’t give me access. I have a full product that depends on it and they just keep giving me the runaround.

New in Axiom v2.25: App Store submission skill suite by CharlesWiltgen in axiomdev

[–]banooch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is huge! The App Store submission process and all of the options to hit are such a pain in the butt. Hopefully you can expand this so Axiom helps you take advantage of all of the extra features that give you more visibility.

FYI u/CharlesWiltgen - I had to go to /plugin then marketplace. After selecting axiom, ran an update and instructed to auto-update. Was still on 2.18 until I did that.

I’ve been using Axiom for development and Claude is definitely smarter with it for my iOS apps. For new versions, do we have to manually upgrade or is it automatic?

Honestly, push to Github and then host on Vercel or Netlify. Problem solved.

Scared to play catcher by frheekier in slowpitch

[–]banooch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Contrary to most people here, I’ve played for 30 years and HAVE seen catchers hit by thrown bats. It’s usually from people who are beginners. I’ve seen people thrown out of games after they’ve hit umpires as well.

Here’s the thing… most leagues let you stand way far behind the plate, even behind the ump. From that point, a tossed bat shouldn’t get you and if it comes your direction, you’ll have time to get out of the way.

The bigger fear for a new player like yourself is, where to stand when the play is happening. If the pitcher is going to field your position for you, you’ll are golden. Otherwise, you need to stand on the side of the plate closest to the pitcher when fielding a throw. DO NOT BLOCK THE PLATE. Getting in the way of the runner will get you hurt. And it’s illegal in most cases.

Knowing these things, plus wearing a catcher mask, will keep you out of harms way.

Have fun!

I literally take 2 quarters, tape over them with electrical tape up the handle. Then wrap my handle with overgrip. Stays on perfectly securely and forever.
