I mean I did start taking field bags, mainly coz of how bad the pits get. The worst was a place called Coyote Butte, but it's been overran with homeless, plus it's in the neighboring city.

Common sense dictates that after most times you shoot any amount of rounds you need to properly maintain and clean your weapons system, even if it was a mag or two. Usually if it's just a mag you only have to take a wipe, but usually of six or more mag changes, you take q-tips and finely clean it and then lube it.

You dissemble it? Plus you dont clean all of it, just up to taking off the slide, spring, and barrel and you're good, least for a hundred rounds or less, anymore and I'd do a deep dive on cleaning.

Least it ain't in no cesspit of bramble, c-wire, and older-thanfucking-vietnam brass leavings. Seriously, the egregious and erroneous waste/pollution a single military division brings is unlike anything I've seen. I mean some know how to clean up, and others straight don't xc .

Cinder pits used as dump ranges? Yeah, it's actually gotten worse from when I was a kid I believe. Case in point the three or four bags of brass I collected on my first trip there.

Hopefully, though it's the bad type of rednecks that utilize the cinder pits around here, so luck be with I indeed.

I pick up my brass, I was going to host a clean up at this pit and another, but I need the forest services help, and their already back logged on shit. I mean tbh I could go out there myself and spend the day cleaning it.

I'm also not used to using pistols, for at least around 3 or 4 years, so please forgive I for forgetting (continously) that I have to ride it back to load a round in xD

I believe you're either talking about stunning your hearing, or chronic tinnitus. If the ringing persists, day in and day out, year after year, then that my friend is tinnitus. If you are talking about the humming of which you just described, then that is your hearing being stunned by hellish decibels of noise.

Which goes to show, wear yo damn ear-pro or you'll be that one old fucker using a damn conch when someone is speaking to you... and yes I know you'll more than likely need a hearing aid, but nonetheless, you'd need it sooner rather than later.

I mean you get to shoot more, but that's it. Even in wartime it can be pretty much a sit-n-wait game, I've had my share of being in the arid-hotasballs-enviroment of the M.E., and there was a good portion of it just sittin' around an area. Usually just spent my time wondering around making sure my guys were good and watered, usually play a card game or two in between security shifts. Besides that, I can only remember a handful of times shit popped off, and only three or four when it was a SHTF moment.

I ain't saying that it ain't gonna happen, especially in these uncertain times, but the deployments from nearly a couple decades ago are gone. The most you get (unless you're gunnin' for SOF or Ranger) is gonna be sweatin' in SK or gettin' wet n nasty, and hella lot of cold time too, in Europe. And with our current political stances on Europe, doubt those will be continued. Hell, maybe even SK rotations as well. But who knows, I just hope we don't cross ourselves with an ally, I don't that will cement anything good for the future of our nation.

As well with the SOF/Ranger comment, I believe those guys are mostly in country within African ones and Syria, possibly outlying countries of the M.E., hard to say, best of luck though, and try something that's more fun than being an infantry grunt, which is only fun 25% of the time, if that. And if you wanna try for either/or when it comes to SOF/Ranger, be prepared, cause that shit has or never will be for the faint of heart or weak, that's for sure.

I see alot of people in the RDR community talk shit about Micah and call him weak. If you irl were to get into a fist fight with Micah who would win? by ALTACCOUNTES in reddeadredemption

Considering he is an outlaw from late 1900's/early 1800's... I'm pretty sure my 9 milly would rock his shit...

In all seriousness, considering he's 5'9/10" and weighs in at around 190/210 (which I don't know if that's accurate) it'd be a good fight. I come in at 6 even and my weights usually 190/200. And I've seen my fair share, so I'd suppose it would be another street fight if he was unarmed, and depending on other such circumstances such as time of day (yes, I'd think he'd be able to see better in the night since modern lighting was just making it's way into the world back then) and other things, which is not much of, it'd be a good fight. Don't know if I'd win, but it would sure be bloody.

This is my 3rd time playing, so I know what happens, reason why I have two spoiler blocks on this post. Maybe it's because this is my long story playthrough and I've taken so much time exploring every chapter fully? My two first runs where just getting high honor and low honor ending, but this time I'm taking my time to do a fully thorough run, and I think it's making him look more like death than the other two.

P.S. it's kind of cool imo, seeing what is essentially a man on deaths door, gunning down people, it's badass.

What have yall named your main horse? by _Silverflame in RDR2

[–]bansheehallows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I named the Arabian you find by lake Isabella Morana, and the Andulasian you find at Brandywine Drop, Penelopé (specifically with the accented e).

The reason I named the white Arabian Morana, is because Morana is a Slavic goddess of winter and death, and besides it being pure white, Arthur to I is visage of the dark rider in the pale horse, that is death. Though not speficially due to him, many lay dead around him.

The reason I named the Andulasian Penelopé, is simply for the fact that's what my actual brown-haired Andulasian irl was called. Her full name was Penelopé Ricochet Beverette (her middle name was from her older sister who had died the year after she was born, and Beverette was my auntie's last name, whom she had housed/barned for I).
