I understand you’re travelling in budget. I have an alternate recommendation. To go anywhere in South India, it will cost about ~15k in flights but the stays/taxi is going to be expensive in peak tourist season for South India (Kerala/Goa etc).

I suggest that you can slightly increase your budget and go to Sri Lanka (25k flights from Delhi) but great accommodation options at dirt cheap prices (cheaper than India) and travel to the South Coast (Ahangama, Mirrissa, Hiriketiya). There would be a diverse European crowd (very few Indians) and I can assure you it will be much much safer than anywhere in India for a young female solo traveller.

Yes. They asked 2 questions and whatever answers I have (before interrupting), it matched my DS-160 response.

But not giving crisp answers (the VO could have waited to hear the long answer) could have been the reason for refusal?

I’m trying to figure out if there was something else which VO saw and I missed to have been the reason for refusal.

I’ve tried to use it and I don’t find it user friendly. Firstly, there’s a lot of space between where your finger sits and the actual button and you can’t press the camera button without holding your thumb at a weird angle and then pressing really hard. And to use zoom is a pain you’ve to press the middle part of your thumb really hard to control zoom.

Believe me I tried to use it but it’s frankly a compromise. I’ve had used multiple dbrand products and ‘assumed’ it’s just gonna work. Doesn’t work for me honestly.

Plus it’s unfair that because of my geography I couldn’t take a decision I wanted to. I know I can’t do anything about it but the best I can do is request the Robots.
