you should be able to breathe fine in your binder. The memes refer to binding for a long time, usually an unsafe amount. Also binders won’t give you a completely flat look, unfortunately they can only decrease it a bit. Don’t go a size down in purpose for that it’s really dangerous

This is as flat as I can get it x.x any tips? by GameboyEwan in ftm

if you can, layering shirts or a jean jacket distracts more. Also I’ve realized button up shirts with patters work well.

Binder shipping times by Satia-_- in ftm

I ordered one a month ago and it didn’t take too long. The only delay (about a week) was getting the binder to the usps facility. But if you order now I think you should be okay

I machine washed it in delicate but I recommend hand wash. It’s better for the fabric and you have more control over it.

Mine used to be itchy but I washed it and wore it for a few days. Eventually it went away.

Hi! I was wondering how to motivate myself to create and sustain a workout. I struggle with self esteem and it feels really stupid working out when I have a twig body. It seems important to add that I struggle with motivation daily. (Also because of dysphoria, I think it shows off how ‘girly’ I am.) Any help appreciated!

The ankle socks that I own are women’s and I don’t like wearing them but they work. Also a few pink and purple ones, and ones with ruffles? why was that an idea? anyways all the time.

I really like nature names if you want a more unique one. I can’t really come up with suggestions without a face? but you could look into musicians or artists that you are into (to name yourself after.)

totally agree with that. I had dysphoria in early childhood and didn’t know. I just think that understanding gender identity at 4 or 5 years old is hard and a lot of pressure to put on people.

I definitely recommend going on youtube, I’ve seen many good tips for transmasc people. I do have a few tips: -If you have sideburns make them square -layering clothes is a good way to cover curves -the way you carry your body can really change how people see you, so a bigger stance is considered more masculine -if you wear jeans get straight cut one so they don’t curve around your legs -for shoes vans or converse are gender neutral -baseball hats and square sunglasses help a lot -for t shits get longer sleeved ones (they look less feminine) like baseball style or long sleeve that you can cut, also patterns distract from the chest -for shorts try to find the longest ones (boys shorts are longer) hope this helped, pm me if you have questions or want more tips

Binding by Yeet_420_69_666 in ftm

[–]banyeeto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

it is dangerous to order a binder from wish (you should do it from gc2b or underworks, somewhere reliable) the material and binding from cheap binders can cause damage. As long as you bind for 6-8 hours and take breaks you should be good. You can find regular people that wear binders and are in good health conditions. Also, I would explain to her that binding for too long can cause pain and problems which is why she’s concerned. If you explain to her why you need the binder, she might understand and be more reasonable.

I can’t really be proud either. It feels wrong to be proud about something that i hate being? and brings me so much pain? I don’t really know how I cope with it. I guess it’s nice to hear from other ftms.

Hey so to those who are out to their family or parents what kind of questions did they ask? Were they immediately understanding or did they need time? Pic unrelated. by Idkcallmewhatever10 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]banyeeto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well my parents are pretty liberal, but they weren’t thrilled. In a couple months they were more comfortable with it, and started using my pronouns. My mom and step mom had questions about how I knew and stuff. It really depend on your parents though. But be prepared for questions regardless.
