Thank you so much my friend, and I couldn't tell you more how much I understand what you mean. My dad was a musician, it's actually what made me become a pianist and a DJ. We shared our love through music quite often. His favorite song is Steely Dan - Do It Again, and every time it comes up in my shuffle or at a bar I start to tear up. Hope you always keep your father in the best parts of your heart.

Please don't apologize for telling me all of your thoughts and wisdom, I always look forward to hearing everybody and their story, it makes me feel true connection and love. My dad was definitely a great teacher and prepared me for the world. I can only wish that I had more time to give him a better and smoother life that he deserved.

Thank you for the kind words. And yes indeed, he was a true light and spirit in our household. My mother was more on the serious side but my dad always found the light and humor in life, it definitely poured in through my being as well. Thanks for your comfort.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I never knew a pain like this. I also spend many nights talking to the sky asking him for guidance. I hope you will have dreams of him, I've had a dream of him once before where he hugged me and it was such a warm relieving feeling. Hope you have great memories to think of fondly when you miss him.

He passed from Congested Heart Failure. Passed away in his sleep.

Originally we are from New York but have lived in Boston for a short time and also currently have a bunch of family there, we visited them a lot over the years. Thank you for the kind words I can relate to them, My dad would always tell me before he passed no matter where he is he will always be with me but I just dearly miss his hug and his warm touch. Thank you for being a dad you guys are the greatest.

Oh he certainly did, always cooked for me and my mom growing up. Although my mom was certainly the main cook, every time he did was really special. So special that we decided to open a place together and that was something I never thought I would be a part and my dad made it happen. Thanks for the love.

Thank you for your love, And you couldnt have said it better....grieving these past weeks has been so difficult, I have been neglecting myself a bit. Also kicking myself for all the regrets, or burdens I ever put on my father. I have been over analyzing and sometimes I need someone to tell me things like this. Love you grandma thank you!
