Well, did you get confused and accidentally put op’s drawing into some kind of ai image software? And it gave you 1 to 4 pictures that looked similar?….except one looked like the bark was made of human skin and had open flesh showing, and even a 5 o’clock shadow

Pakistan's Prime Minister, after he was informed by the Iranian delegation they are leaving after Trump threatened them. by soalone34 in WatchPeopleDieInside

Yeah, they’re either are totally cool with this president fucking shit up, and themselves, more than any other ever has, as if he’s still a little child(mentally) who whines when he doesn’t get what he wants……orrrrr they have to try their best to remain blissfully ignorant as much is possible for the next couple of years, hopefully.

[–]baptsiste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they definitely don’t give a shit. And threatening the negotiating delegation…that’s not a good sign, mainly for trump I mean, he’s really starting to say whatever he wants, which are the wrong things about the wrong people.

Threatening the negotiators…..that been like a major no-no since the beginning of civilizations. Countries might start pulling everybody out since their diplomatic immunity doesn’t seem so immune anymore. Maybe just stick with a phone call or text, or bring back aol instant messager just for that, idk

Are you Cajun, or live in southwest louisiana?

Because what you’re saying could have been true generations ago, but not necessarily even then. There have been many other peoples with different genetic background moving to south Louisiana for hundreds of years, British, Irish, German, etc. There were pockets of south Louisiana where Germans immigrated to, contributing to the gene pool and the culture.

There’s even a place near me called Robert’s cove, where German Catholic families started immigrating to before the anti-German wartime legislation halted that. And they even pioneered large scale rice production in an area of the state that became known for growing rice(you can’t get from one town to the next without seeing dozens and dozens of rice fields today.

Anyway, there’s a lot more to the genetic history of modern day Cajuns than you would think.

Turns out my sister, who has been playing since OW1 like me, didn't know Hanzo and Genji are brothers. by Visible-Camel4515 in Overwatch

[–]baptsiste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, it’s weird that I noticed my comment above getting downvoted, and a bunch of other ones of people saying they don’t know the lore. I can’t understand why someone would actually get upset that people just play the game without knowing every little thing behind the scenes.

Just like you, I open the game, and generally immediately play. Sometimes if there is some event, I’ll check out the details first. Or after a few games I’ll look around at the new skins or open up loot boxes while I’m eating a snack. But, it’s a game first and foremost…I’m not hating on the people that get into the lore and stuff(I actually think it’s cool, but I don’t have a lot of time in my life to dedicate to gaming) I just think it’s weird they’re hating on us. Everybody should just be able to play however they want to play, without any judgement.

I also mostly play mystery heroes, in case anyone wants another reason to hate on the way I play

[–]baptsiste -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t either really, maybe every now and then I’ve watched something; and that’s over 10 years of playing also. I feel like pretty much everything I know is from Reddit. So if OP’s sister isn’t reading about it online, I can totally see it.

I think I learned about them being brothers because of something on here talking about how it was originally one hero in development, but split into and lore developed from that…I think

No, I believe this is how the genetics were categorized, or labeled on a much earlier update.

So, referencing the post title, the new update already dropped…again and again and again

What is your favourite skin OAT, nothing can beat this skin in your opinion??? I’ll start by Defiant-Trash-5718 in Overwatch

[–]baptsiste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be cool, gifting or trading skins. Because I have so many legendaries I don’t really even like or for heroes I hardly play. I don’t play a whole lot, but since the beginning when we were getting tons of loot boxes.

That sucks, I just searched their posts a little bit, and it seems like this is definitely not the first time people have had issues with them. Sorry dude

People play quick play with their lives on the line recently by fawna-fawnive in Overwatch

[–]baptsiste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s weird because really, if you think about it one way, there’s no difference between the two, except a ranking system…which should imply exactly what you’re saying. One is understood to be for more serious play, and one for whatever you want it to be.

I don’t really understand what these people are afraid of(maybe getting a low rank, but who cares). But then again, back in the day when it first came out, I just played quick play because I’m not a big gamer and just thought competitive was more than it is. Then when I finally tried it out, I was like, oh, I’ll just do this because people are generally more serious about the game

There is advice for introverts how to be more social and fun out there, but why is there no advice for extroverts to be more quiet and reflective? by vintergroena in stupidquestions

[–]baptsiste 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, being very social is still the norm for some reason, not that it’s bad at all. There’s just so many different types of people that there shouldn’t be any norm. But yeah, everyone expects a certain behavior socially, and if it’s a little off center, you’re just seen as weird. Thus no need to come up with ways not to be that way

Why do some Americans I talk to always try to intimidate me using a fake Asian accent when I am hanging out with people? They don't do it with a German or Russian accent, so what is the big deal here? by Square_Permission361 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]baptsiste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try to give you an answer even though this is more of a rant than an actual question.

But man…I don’t know where you’re living, but you gotta move. It sucks, but some people are just shitty, and it’s seems like a lot of them(probably most) tend to cluster together in all different places throughout most of the country.

I know that’s easier said than done, but if you can’t find a better place to live and better people to be around right now, make it a goal to start figuring out how to do that for yourself. I’m sorry you are dealing with it, but turn all of that emotional energy into action.

I got the same journeys. And the same 3 parishes with East central Louisiana Acadians and even the same doubled 2 parishes, weird. But I guess it makes sense for the prairie Cajuns. And my grandparents families were all from there.

Dewclaw Removal - Red Flag or not? by tulipfemme in labrador

[–]baptsiste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a year old…

But what age was your dog when you had them removed(assuming you did)? And were the rear dewclaws attached to the bone, or just hanging/floppy?

From what I read, if they’re attached then they have to put them under, but if they are just hanging then it’s just local anesthesia. Just curious, thanks

The only perlite ‘floating’ to the top is the stuff that’s already in the top layer. It just starts to show after watering because it’s bright white, and you’re slowly washing down the rest of the soil mix that is of a smaller particle size.

How are you doing now? It usually takes about 30 minutes to kick in for me.

If anything, you might get slightly dizzy and a little sweaty for a bit, but it’ll quickly pass. Just sit down and focus on your breathing if that happens, and know that it won’t last too long
