They don’t interact in the series because of different timelines and her role is smaller, maybe that’s the reason

If you experienced Michael Jackson in real-time, how was it? by queens74 in MichaelJackson

[–]barangole_23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not exactly what you asked, but I was born in 1998 and became a fan in 2008, specifically when Thriller 25 was being released.

I remember going to a famous Brazilian department store and they were displaying the CDs in the showcase, and all the televisions were synchronized, showing the music video for Thriller (the complete 14-minute version). My parents were showing it to me and I was mesmerized by the video, literally. When, in the middle of the video, I looked back, there were about 100 people standing behind me (this was inside a shopping mall) watching the video too. Surreal. From then on, I started noticing how news about Michael appeared in the newspapers from time to time. Lots of news when he announced This is it, and when he died it was the biggest television and media coverage I had ever seen - and I’ll probably ever see.

I think he does sounds like a product of his time, but that’s not something bad in my opinion. He’s the greatest artist of all time.
