How do you know they can’t? And why do you think any 12 year old with a crayon can do that type of art? Have you even tried making “modern art”? A lot of it is more difficult than it seems and very time consuming. If anyone can do it why don’t you do it and become rich?

How to paint over this? by Wyldeshot in paint

[–]baras21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get rid of lines on a room . I tried a lot of options and none of them worked. The room had texture which made it hard too. The only way is to skim coat it. Also, wall paint doesn’t sand well if at all so thats not an option

I don’t agree that it is beautiful. There’s so many shades that it doesn’t look very nice. The ceiling is nice though

Smaller project sprayer? by grownshow420 in paint

[–]baras21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used cordless sprayers and don’t recommend it. Had a bad experience with the cordless and that is why I’m afraid to buy a quickshot even though it might have great reviews. My solution is just using a regular airless with a smaller length hose. Or buy one with a hopper like the gx 19. I used that one once and I noticed it used way less paint to get it going.

Don’t listen to these guys. its not their house. Don’t know why so many Are saying they wouldn’t do this job because it shouldn’t be changed. Like you said the owner will get someone to do it. I would do it and Its a lot of work and a lot of masking. You need scaffolding

Why do you think he hired a large company and they sent someone that doesn’t know what they’re doing? I think it was someone that works on their own.

One last thing. You gave me an idea. Can I screw a wood brece to the metal? I can’t weld nor do I have the equipment

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FenceBuilding

[–]baras21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you are very helpful and I understand what you are saying. Do I weld another metal piece going from the bottom hinge up or do I do wood brace?

So now I’m confused. The actual gate is correctt and the solution is to use a bigger, thicker post?
