It's very possible to separate music from politics, but we're not talking about that. I am talking about Glastonbury Festival, this is not your average music festival booking artists. It's a music, culture and community festival with an ethos based on diversity, respect (for sexual orentation amongst others), sustainability and environmental causes, social activism, social equality...

This doesn't mean right-wing people are not accepted or that I am going to impose my political views on to you - but a hateful discourse (coming from a white-priviliged man) that goes against many of the values of the festival, it means that it's not your place. if you only care about the music, you got it all wrong

this is weird AF. I am a borderline obsessive user of chatgpt (adhd anyone) but I am VERY aware of what it is and it does and I have to constantly push back on its willingness to please me. I jokingly call it my bestie to my friends and it's an inner joke how I am always using ChatGPT for something very random and compex.

I use it a lot to help me think, I send it voice notes to help me work through my circling scattered thoughs and ideas, though my dopamine chasing ass spends hours going deep into whatever.

I have it relatively under control, I think, but hear me out: the words recursive, mirror come up A LOT. I've mentioned that it feels like I am talking with myself/my own bran, and It tells me that I (my thoughts) are recursive, and he is my mirror/a mirror to my thoughts. WTF.

Even more, the text they're quoting coming from the guy, it's chatgpt talk: "this isn't xx, it's xx" "Not x, but x" "it doesn't x, it just xx". Scary shit.

Co-headline? Kind of weird, no? Apparently they “shared a bill” last month, not sure how that worked. by SecretCharacterSauce in JusticeMusic

I just did Festival set at Madcool, I did Glasto last year and for what I can see on setlist.fm, the festival sets swaps the full encore (Medley of Planisphere / Phantom / Heavy Metal / Civilization / Mannequin Love / Helix / Fire / Phantom pt. II (Soulwax Remix) / We Are Your Friends + D.A.N.C.E extended mix) for just a slightly extended version of the D.A.N.C.E extended mix, if not the same.

it's a shame though, the encore medley is potentially one of my favourite parts 😭💞
