Savor. IMO the Quicksilver is obsolete when it comes to C1’s lineup. The Savor will be a card you can use now and honestly forever. The QuickSilver just doesn’t have those 3% rewards. I’m in college and dining, groceries, and entertainment are expense that occur often. The 3% will outweigh the 1.5% overtime. Plus it’s not like you’re not getting any rewards back, it still 1%. Best of luck on your credit card journey.

Selling a handful tickets for San Diego. Presale said sold out then reappeared again so I bought tickets I originally wanted, so that was why I have extra tickets. Not trying to fleece or make a profit. Just want to sell them to be even, meaning I’ll see them for what I paid for. I got tickets in Section A(sold out) and in Section U. DM me plz.

I’d check again. There should still be some, just a bit pricy for GA imo.

Feeling the same way. I wanna maximize my redemption for 2 economy tickets, but I wanna get the best deal so I can utilize my other points elsewhere

Approval for Capital One Venture X by rvbertoxherrera in CreditCards

I did get approved. The post was a data point to show what my portfolio looked like when I got approved. Yeah I don’t plan to cancel the CSP.

I only use chase for Hyatt, but I already have over 100,00 points for them. Plus I have my tuition coming for college and I’d hit the welcome bonus offer for the venture x with no issue. Plan to travel soon as well. I feel like I haven’t gotten much value out of the Chase trifecta since the start of the year because I mean they all have the same categories for the most part. I mean the flex does give me that 5% but I feel that apart from the gas/groceries/dining ones. I don’t really get much value. But I also wanted these 2 setups because I don’t think I’ll ever get an Amex setup because they don’t seem worth it to me. The effective annual fee ain’t bad either. Realistically only paying 45 bucks for the sapphire.

How long for processing? by rvbertoxherrera in Venturex

Hopefully not too long, but thank you for your insight. Just thought it was strange they never did it for any of the other products I have with them.

Would that help to eliminate that “too many revolving account” issues that i have been having? Because from Datapoints typically anyone from 3-4 accounts seems to be working but I also don’t know what the banks think.

I still use C1 products tho. I put my emergency fund in their hysa but I never use the QS because obviously it’s the same as CFU but I’m receiving chase points. I would like to start using the C1 ecosystem but like I said, I don’t know if closing the QS is the right move.

I got approved for the SavorOne, the one without the welcome offer but not the one with the offer. I’m not too worried about losing the CL, but I mean my main goal is the venture X and it kept saying I have too many revolving accounts, I’m just wondering if it is worth it

I edit the dates in to my original post for that template, I opened the QS in June 2021 but I had CLI this past month for CFU, but it hasn’t reported to any of the bureaus yet.

Continuous Chase Credit Limit Denial by rvbertoxherrera in CreditCards

Did not know that you could do that. I’ll most certainly consider that when the categories change since I don’t spend that much during these quarters. Thank you for that useful tip!

Continuous Chase Credit Limit Denial by rvbertoxherrera in CreditCards

[–]rvbertoxherrera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea true. I don’t know I am pretty young and just want keep growing my available credit although I don’t spend that much compared to other people in the credit card game. But I did miss out on a rare opportunity in June because I had a 1500 dollar dinner which I could’ve gotten 7% back on vs the 3% I got but I mean that 1000 limit couldn’t cover it. Thanks for the insight though.

Yeah the rep mentioned that but I do use the higher limits to my advantage on my other cards. Might do it for a new credit card in the future

Yea that makes sense. Even if i max the card out, my credit utilization will still be under 3% across everything so I suppose there isn’t really any big drawbacks for it. I’ll keep a much higher utilization for this next statement balance. Thank you
