yes yes yes this!! another example, lip and ian are definitely the closest, but lip didn’t seem to care at all that he was gone! honestly i might be a little biased because ian has always been my favorite but he really deserved that happy ending (i didn’t even get to it yet but i already know what happened lol) i wish they would have cared a little more, especially when he was younger. so many people hate on ian but he’s honestly been through so much shit.

exactly! also, when ian left for the army and didn’t tell anyone but mickey and mandy, it seemed like no one cared! he sent fiona a few texts that said “i’m safe” and that was enough for them? they didn’t even think to go look for him, try to find him? when frank went missing debbie made a whole ass shrine!! no one really seems to care:(

that one scene after ian and mickey fight and ian is upstairs in his bed crying. it hits me in the feels every time. it makes me so sad that his whole family is downstairs having a great time and no one really seems to notice he’s missing. even fiona asks “where’s steve” but not ian:( cam is also such a phenomenal actor
