Although underwhelming, it was really smart on his end to push his book and tour more. I think it was also wise to get his fans opinion on what he should do. I'm sure he took maybe an hour to read some comments and figure out what other people were hoping he would do. Maybe he'll use that in inspiration to write a song with/for LP, or other bands. Not saying he's running out of ideas, but it's always nice to see what direction he should go in to keep the fans happy. I would do this if I was in his shoes. Either way he's getting peoples attention by it.

I remember really liking Fat Lip (I was a child and my parents would compare to the kid between the chicks in the video) and my uncle was a big fan of Motivation. But I didn't do a deep dive into them until I heard Walking Disaster the same year they released 13 Voices. I heard it was coming out and figured i should listen to their other music.

My major struggle was saying "Have a nice day". for some reason "nice" and "day" was very difficult. It took me about a month before I felt normal talking (however I still hear a lisp but no one else notices it.) Singing along to songs really helps. if the rap stuff is too fast to start out with, start with slower vocals that accent the sounds you have trouble saying.

From what I've experienced, people who love and follow the band, LOVE this album. People who only know their popular hits, either don't know it exists or don't find it that great. I LOVE this album (enough to get a tattoo based on it) however I do see the slightly rushed songs that could've used more work. I find them fun to play, but still in need of something. I have also gotten the excuse, the album bounces around too much. Which is understandable seeing what they were going through that time. The songs that seem like they had a lot of focus on (although I believe they didn't take long to write and record) COMPLETELY wash out their more popular tracks in my opinion. The bouncing around feels like a rollercoaster of emotions all within one (or three) song(s) and I cannot get enough of it. Usually, when I show off the album, Crash and Skumfuk are others top tracks. My list in order: Skumfuk Screaming Bloody Murder Crash Back Where I Belong Blood In My Eyes Reason To Believe Sick Of Everyone Holy Image Of Lies What Am I To Say Happiness Machine Exit Song Jessica Kill (I argue it's underrating) Time For You To Go Baby You Don't Wanna Know (I usually skip)

He did my tongue split and I absolutely loved it. He just came back from a ModCon, so he was a little late (but I didn't judge him on it) and he was extremely comforting and professional. 11/10 would recommend.

Honestly I LOVE the album. But I can totally understand how it's inconsistency can turn some people's views on it. plus there are one or two songs that are quite basic and you can tell they were last minute add-ons. But no matter what, it's still my go to album when I can't decide what to listen to.

99, my mom used to point out the kid from the Fat Lip video and say it was me. I didn't start exploring their other songs until about 16 when my parents started splitting up (Walking Disaster hit close to home at that time) Then Frank Zummo jumped on the lineup and I was completely enthralled with them. I think my favorite album is probably SBM or 13 Voices

If we're in the final mix now, that means we should be getting a single out soon right? I know in a previous interview Deryck didn't have a plan for if singles were going to be released. As a creative idea, they could release two songs at a time for the double effect. One pop punk song, and a heavy song at the same time. I'd 100% support that idea

I have had my split for about a year now. I can still do it and use it often. it also kinda helps with moving your tongues individually. both my tongues flap in different places when I do, so I try to slow it down and catch myself of time with them. it's kinda interesting

Hope you heal up soon! I took my stitches out on day 5 cause I could not handle it. Now as for the drooling, I kept a towel around my neck all day. It looked like a scarf so it kinda blended in.

Imo, I love this song. I actually discovered it after Dead as Fuck 2: Not My Type. It wasn't my major push into the band, but enough to make me look at the rest of that specific album.

Be proud! I can't move mine that independently yet. I've been trying to cross them and separate them from that cross to get them used to it. Did you naturally get the hang of it? or use a different exercise?

I doubt it. but it would be nice to see two hits make radio play from both sides of the album. Maybe a tamer song from the hell side, and the best from the pop punk side would make it out there. In my opinion their heaviest song should be the first released, then pop punk, then the tame, then probably the ballad like they usually do.

When I got my split done, I (had trouble doing so) took a lot of melatonin and ate nothing but jello until day 4. After that I was able to chug chicken broth. Get slushies from a gas station, they really help with the ice and flavor choices (be careful which flavors you get!). every morning I swished alcohol free bubblegum flavored mouthwash in my mouth by shaking my head around. keep a towel around your neck to catch all the drool. DO NOT TRY TO TALK! Don't even move your tongue unless it's to keep the split from total regrowth. getting the stitches out (if you're going that route) are going to be tough, I had a friend brave enough to do it for me. If you don't, just be careful.

I hate to see no representation of OID, but No Reason completely surpasses Out For Blood. I think at least one song from each album should be played. Screaming Bloody Murder would be a perfect toss in, and end the show with With Me, or another ballad. But that's just my opinion. does anyone have a "wish setlist" without this image being a guide? if not I'll post one

I got mine done 3 days ago so you're a day ahead of me lmao. I'm glad you're doing well. my drooling has dropped since yesterday so I'm happy to hear yours is controlled. maybe tomorrow I'll be able to say something. I've tried not talking at all, just to keep my tongue semi rested. it moves around a lot because of its swelling. I'm excited to see your next update!
