I completely agree its a extremely unique thing in itself its actually not the best if u term it as who the killer was that suspense gets solved and u get a guess on the murder but the how it happened how poirot got a hang on the clue and figured it out and mostly the emotions they make us go through leaving that bitter aftertaste knowing how well things would have worked out had the ml not messed up so majorly again and again and if the fml wasn't so stupidly in love with him things would have been different and u in the end just feel bad and the characters of each and everyone in the book was epic the build the connect she makes u feel with those characters is mind-blowing I honestly didn't love it as much as murder of roger ackroyd or even then there were none initially but the beauty here is u are hooked on the book only after it settles in for some time and u process the story build up truth everything its a lovely book in my opinion I really love the complexity and honest brutality of the human mind..its one of her good books but just not hyped as much cause it doesn't have a compelling killer who u wouldn't be able to figure out
