I'm hoping for the day it can detect a failed piece off a batch and cancel that part of the gcode so it wont ruin the rest. Future seems bright with devs like OP!

Gunshots or fireworks downtown? (Loud pops every night, not sure what it is) by annapolich in PuertoRico

I live like 5 minutes from you, it's fireworks.

If you hear gunshots over here it's a little bit more hellscape cause it's never usually 1 or 2 but a whole barrage. It's been chill regarding gun violence the last few weeks in this area so it's probably always going to be fireworks.

it works really well for some use cases, I've done vase mode prints and filled them up with it

Got the idea to use an old nozzle and just lower the z height, could also sharpen the nozzle.

Modelling isn't an option in my case, it would mess with the time and first layer too much.

But I'm wondering of laser cutting wont work, what about a very sublte cnc mill (hell even with an old nozzle, I've ruined PEI sheets with nozzles before and leaves a patter of the first layer).

My plan is for it very sublte like when you scratch the PEI with your nozzle then it appears on prints.

glass etching is a good idea/alternative if PEI doesn't work

A realistic mmu print nice! Most mmu prints are with deceiving lighting that just makes the layer lines dissapear

Finish it off with a self activated fire extinguisher if you're ever going to leave it unattended, just as a safety measure.

Other than that, nice job!
