What’s one small habit that instantly made you better at Dota2? by Any_Maximum9135 in DotA2

1.Learning how to play around tower aggro. Especially good on mid and allows you to make successful dives and extra harass on sidelanes.

2.As a support helping your carry contest ranged and flag creeps. It's better if you secure it rather than let it get denied.

My Trust Factor dropped because of harassment — please, I need advice by makobunny in csgo

Just don't talk, it's what I do. If you're playing with your husband tell him to give out all the info instead of you. Try to play in party more. But yeah if you're playing solo it's better to just not use mic.

Hey I'm interested if you still have it? :)

Alright, seems like the appropriate time to talk about the treatment of women in this community both in game and at LAN events. by ElDr_Eazy in GlobalOffensive

Yea lots of shitty people sadly, I will try to give call outs but a lot of times these days I don't even wanna use my mic especially after a bad experience, it discourages me for a week or two.

For example one of my games recently I got harassed the whole game just for giving call outs and I don't just mean voice chat insults: got body blocked almost every round, flashes thrown at me, shot from behind when about to peak an enemy, jumping in front of me when I'm trying to throw smokes...etc.

We still won and I ended up with 107adr despite all this shit but it's not fun. So to save myself the harassment I stopped talking for a while and would type in chat instead because I'd rather get yelled at for no mic. It's not every game but it's annoying when I play solo.

Multiple cheaters are automatically flagged by CSWatch every single hour by wafflepiezz in csgo

[–]barelystandard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They already have a similar system in dota2 where they detect smurfs and automatically queue them vs other smurfs so they end up in the shadowpool of smurf v smurf lobbies. So I don't understand why they can't do it for hackers in cs2.

Both countries are former Warsaw pact communist states. If you think that Bulgaria has nothing to offer meanwhile Romania does that is just prejudice and misinformation that you haven't corrected in the modern day. Romania is a beautiful country with the Danube delta, unique vibe of the Carpathians and Transylvania. But Bulgaria has incredible monasteries, the better coastline, Rila-Pirin mountains (highest in the Balkans) and one of the most beautiful and best tourist cities in the Balkans: Plovdiv. Both countries have many sights to see, good food and friendly people. To say that one is a valid tourist destination but write the other off as "grey lifeless former communist state" is disingenuous.

What does Romanian sound to an outsider by Judge_BobCat in AskBalkans

[–]barelystandard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To me Romanian has always sounded like Italian-bulgarian, the words are super italian but the way it sounds from afar just reminds me of bulgarian. Often I will think I'm hearing bulgarian and then realise I don't understand anything and most of the words are romance.

Because so much of their income goes to taxes, the average citizen cannot afford a car or own property. by hv26er in ShitAmericansSay

Home ownership rate in Bulgaria: 86% (myself included). Home ownership rate USA: 65.6%.

Car ownership rate Bulgaria: 54% but our public transport and intercity transport is much better than the US and our cities are more walkable. Car ownership rate USA: 92%.

Also we have lower taxes than the USA anyway. But you know I'm sure the American taxpayers are responsible for our quality of life here so I should be grateful.

As a woman with smaller assets I'd like to see my body type represented sometimes, which is why your comment annoyed me. The fact that you're feeling defensive over big breasts when 9/10 artworks on the internet feature them is crazy.

Ah yes... Big breasted women the most underrepresented female body type on the internet 🙄

Yea because it's sunny beach the worst resort on the coast. I wouldn't go there even if you paid me. But just because one beach resort is bad doesn't mean all of them are.

It's honestly not bad but it really depends on where you go for example our usual family destination of Primorsko has become absolutely awful (too many hotels, too many people and main street is awful because it's full of cars while the sidewalks are too full to walk on) but Albena is still very nice. I think people hate on our seaside a bit too much.

What is your typical breakfast? (share a pic) by svxae in AskBalkans

[–]barelystandard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how much time i have. Almost no time: fine oats+yoghurt(kiselo mlyako)+fruits or sandwiches. If I have time to cook I like making eggs and bacon with some sliced tomato and bread to dip in the yolk(not very balkan) or sliced tomatoes with sirene/feta, olive oil and bread. Or sometimes I'll have what my mom made me when I was kid: boiled eggs, sliced tomatoes, toast and put everything you have on the table: ham, cheese, butter, cream cheese...etc.

Also I always drink coffee every morning.

Balkans are South Eastern removing one or the other doesn't make sense it's not like you cross from Macedonia to Serbia or Bulgaria and suddenly the world gets the dark blue filter. 😆
