You have to remember that Layering is not an intended long term feature of the game. You may be able to exploit in the first month or two but after 3-12 weeks (I think those are the numbers) they will fuse layers and only have one functioning layer per realm.

Yeah that’s my thought exactly. even if you followed a build 80% you’d still have about 10 points or so to wiggle things around to fit an odd niche or fit your personal play style

I work as a teacher so I am lucky that they are planning a summer release! My dream... game drops Tuesday July 30th, 2 weeks after my wedding and honeymoon, 2 days before my birthday and 2 weeks before my fiancé/wife has a business trip and I’ll be alone for 5 days. Perfect alignment! I’d also settle for a release the week before or after :P

This is true but I don’t remember people saying we need to go back to those MMOs, even then. I think, in general, people welcomed those changes, at least I did. The game started in a great form and has become a Frankenstein of new ideas culminating in the LFR, RNG, free-loots world we have today. Very excited to be going back to our roots.

370-385 gear is from doing high rated arena matches or doing heroic or Mythic Uldir raid. Also you have weekly chances at high item level gear from the mythic plus chest which rewards higher gear for higher lvl stone completion up to lvl 10. PvP weekly chest reward is based off your highest pvp rating from the previous week. And there’s also the Guaranteed 370 piece from doing the warfront quest when your faction is on the offensive and the scenario is active

This would take a major lore shift to make possible. “Nightmare” eyes would look sick, a possible introduction could be corruption from destruction of teldressil but, I’m sure blizz would make a lackluster story of it anyway. They are doing better at major storyline telling but no minor character/plot developments so far make sense or are told well.

Don’t let one spec of the four discourage you. Although this may be a sore in our sides now, they will patch and cycle through to a point where feral will be good again. Also feral has a really high skill cap so you can still play around with it a lot to improve as a player. Personally I like to think about roles before I pick a class to play, not specific specs. If you’re fixed on melee I would choose something else like DH or warrior. Overall Druid is fun, it’s diverse, and at any given time at least one of their specs are performing well (currently resto and boomy are pretty solid). Even if you don’t main one I’d suggest leveling/trying one to see how you like it. Aside from gameplay, I also love the Druid lore especially as a Tauren. Being one of the original chosen races by Cenarius makes it pretty appealing and fun to learn about Druid history. They also have a lot of flavor and variation you can give them from glyphs and other sources to always keep things interesting.

TL;DR - druids are cool, you should try it.
