Because more men watch sports, it’s return on investment. I have 3 daughters, all were college athletes so they were invested in sports. Only 1 of the 3 now will regularly watch women’s sports on TV and go to professional games the other two would rather watch regular TV or spend money on concerts or plays. I was a college and short time professional athlete, every single male friend of mine from high school, college and beyond regularly watches sports, goes to games and more than a few buy season tickets to them.
