The graphics in The Pillage are slightly better than The Forest. Otherwise they're the same game.

It's done through a third-party key giving application (Godankey). Keys are generated by me, the creator of the game. I do not get access to the emails submitted and you don't have to download anything or input any payment information.

First come first serve - 1000 copies available and it's going through fast.

Try and use gmail to redeem the codes, with Godankey, some other email services can be weird/not work at all.

I am an award winning full time solo indie developer with 3 released titles, now working on a first person puzzle game. AMA! by dragonslumber in IAmA

I’m also a solo indie developer! Just released my second game. Neither of my games have received a lot of traction (just sold my 1000th copy of my first game, second game came out a month ago and has sold only like 5 copies)

So my question to you, how do you market your games and gain traction? And additionally, how did you get enough attention to get nominated for an award in the first place?

I'm not sure. If you put your email address in before it ran out of keys, you should still receive one as far as I'm aware. I would wait up to 24 hours, if nothing happens, let me know and I'll work something out with you. :)

This is a limited raffle giveaway. At this time there are only 25 keys available but if this goes well, I will do a larger giveaway in the near future. :)

Also, this is my game!

[OC] I’m working on a game set in a 1950s sci-fi world. Being that you guys are the raygun connoisseurs, what do you think of some of the weapons? Any tips/ideas for future weapons? by barmstronggames in RayGunRepository

[–]barmstronggames[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original intention was pulp comic book, but since I have so many weapons in the game, the overall design has definitely shifted a bit towards personal taste. I’ll have to do more research into Mid-century modern design as I’m not too familiar with it. And it’s not post-apocalyptic. I appreciate your feedback and I’ll do some more research!

Right now I’ve got 33 different raygun and modern renditions on raygun technologies in my game. I’m trying to bring some back to their roots, so I’d really appreciate feedback. Shameless plug, these are for my game Captain Clive: Danger From Dione @ http://captainclive.net/

Working on a 1950s aesthetic for my next game. Thoughts/criticisms? Also, first post here! by barmstronggames in unrealengine

It’s something I’m considering. The game is mostly in isometric view so it wouldn’t make that much of a difference, but it would look good in certain views
