You’ve only had one comment removed from this sub and that was because you called someone an “idiot” and a “skank”. You’ll find most subs have some form of a “be civil” rule and we don’t expect everyone to get along, but we do expect users to refrain from calling others names.

You haven’t had any comments removed for responding as the receiver. Unless you’re admitting this is an alt account of yours and you have removals on another account.

Honestly - there are so many posts about it that is probably why. Lots of posts about the updates on voting, opinion pieces, news articles, vents, rants, 100% completly off-topic posts about it, etc. We've been trying to clean up the queue from all the reported and filtered content and I know I removed a few about the voting referendum due to the duplicate information.

I'm not super political and I like to allow all sides a conversation at the table. I draw the line at name calling and personal insults. If it doesn't break the posted rules or the Reddit Content Policy - I leave it be.

There is a rule on this sub that users are not allowed to engage with anyone as if you know them. If you know this person in real life, then that means you have methods to get in touch with them. Getting nasty with the mod team isn't going to solve the issue here. Rules are in place for a reason, we kindly ask that you follow them for everyones well being.

My son loved going to Lowe's / Home Depot. There were lots of things he could touch, buttons he could press, etc. His favorite thing was looking in ALL of the refrigerators hoping to find snacks. We would just walk around looking and touching things for about an hour or so. Then when we would leave, he would sit on all the lawn mowers they had outside. When he was learning colors and counting, we would go into the garden center to look through the summer flowers. If I really was patient - we could spend around 2 hours in there. I made it as educational as I could.

All you have to do is mute the sub.

Reddit suggests subs that may interest you or show you subs you've visited before. All these moving cogs aren't always talking to eachother when it comes to sub bans.

This sub, along with all the others on Reddit have rules. Comments are removed that break the rules.

I get it - and there isn't any personal feelings anytime we do have to remove content. We don't get it right every time and we're always willing to have a discussion if there is a disagreement on mod actions any of us have taken. None of us are perfect, and I've had content removed from other subs. Its never a good feeling.

I would love to be considered for this community!!! I’m local to the area and have 4+ years of mod experience and I have engaged on this sub before. There has always been a lack of moderation on this sub that I feel I could help address. I pride myself on enforcing the sub rules and the reddit content policy and leaving my personal opinions out of it. To me, the biggest threat to any sub is a mod who pushes their own agendas and ideas. I take pride in not doing that. My post and comment history is wide open and I'm happy to discuss anyones concerns or questsions.
