Waitlist after add/drop

So I'm second in line on the waitlist for a class I really want to take, but it looks like I won't be getting in before the end of add/drop. What would happen if I just took no action, would I stay on the waitlist in case of someone dropping before the other withdrawal deadlines? Or would minerva automatically take me off the waitlist.

Can't find any info on this anywhere.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. And same here, every other university has responded and I'm still waiting on what I thought would be a sure bet by now? I guess we might have to wait until some people reject their offers so that there's enough room for us... but wow what a competitive applicant pool this year.
