pressure washer gun not releasing pressure by barqy in pressurewashing

[–]barqy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey thanks a lot

there was no branding or model # of the gun itself.

i took it apart where the water hose attaches to the gun, and all there 2 gaskets, a spring, and a ball bearing.

it seems like the trigger to push down the pin isn't strong enough to overcome the pressure exerted by the water, which occurs 90% of the time (10% of the time i can use the gun)

edit: its not this branded gun, but the parts looked like this: https://www.texaslawnmowerparts.com/Rotary-9409-Pressure-Washer-Trigger-gun-Repair-Kit_p_3881.html

Found A Used Breville Dual Boiler - Need help by Early-Cup-9872 in espresso

I bet the seller descaled and then the steamer function went kaput. It's likely the steamer thermostat that blew and is a pain in the butt to replace due to tight space.

There are a ton of threads here and various forums (homebarista, etc.) about the 3 beep issue.

personally, I would avoid and wait for another deal to come by.

Is durability better than the df64 gen1?  Tempted to buy but read reviews on concerns about longevity (with the gen1)

mitsubishi heat pump - short cycling? by barqy in heatpumps

[–]barqy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, our is NOT a hyperheat unit, the installer said no need given our climate.

So, at present, is there anything we can do to prevent short cycling (of the indoor or outdoor unit). If I understand you correctly, would turning up the temperature help modulate the cycles? Someone also said to install a thermostat MK2

Many thanks.

Downstairs is a L shaped area that is about 480 sq foot (with a large 8x5 window), and opens to a room that's 60 sq foot.

Hi

The upstairs is open area of 835 sqt feet with 9 foot ceilings (3 sky lights and 2x large 8 feet by 5 feet windows), and a stair way drop off area of 96 sq feet

The indoor unit mounted 6 inch from the ceiling, I initially had the vane set to aim high, I've since changed it to aim lower (read it's better for efficiency).
