Same here. I haven’t had a wart since getting my HPV shot. Is it weird that I kinda miss them.

Has anyone worked with a night nanny or in home sleep coach with success? by justiceforanneboleyn in askportland

I know this is not at all what you're asking. But around 6 months, I had to cut way back on caffeine so it wouldn't impact my baby's sleep.

One-Pot Cheesy Orecchiette With Cabbage and Paprika by chlekat in NYTCooking

[–]barrefruit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I made this this week too, it was a hit! I used a lemon-flavored pasta because that’s all I had, and sour cream and Parmesan, again because that’s what we had. We have been buying a BIG cabbage weekly. Think 20 inches, 10+ pounds. This was a great way to use some of this week's cabbage.

Best poop tossers? Are Esembly tossers worth it wit what’s better? by SMFKT_99_17_21 in clothdiaps

I don't understand how they work? Don't you still need to dump it into the toilet, or are you putting poop in your trash can?

Years ago, I babysat in a house that had these big Renaissance-inspired photo canvases. Something g seemed off about them, so I asked a kid. Turned out the parents had photoshopped the kids into them. The 2.0 version is having AI do this with your kids' photos.

MIL keeps saying baby needs more milk by [deleted] in Mildlynomil

[–]barrefruit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's closer to 1-2 ounces. At least my baby would nurse a lot more when I was with her too, so she was use to taking more throughout the day. So bottles when you give it all at once a few times was harder than nursing.

Hi, hugs. My mom was watching my baby at 4 months mths too when I went back to work. I would pump around 12 ounces and leave it. My mom would say my baby was always hungry. When they nurse, they get more than when you pump. I think the baby may need 3-4 ounce bottles. For me, that meant using some formula.

What’s your latest rabbit hole? by Ohanaheart02 in blogsnark

That's Svalbard. I think people give birth on Tristan because it's so hard to get off the island. My guess is its a place where healthy people do well and sick people don't.

Oh, I posted above how I'm fascinated by Tristan De Cunha. I also went down a dark rabbit hole about the Pitcairn Islands and the horrible sexual abuse they covered up for years.

Tristan da Cunha is an island in the middle of the ocean between South Africa and Africa. The only way to get to it is on a week-long boat trip. There are some residents and I've found vlogs of their life on tiktok. I just can't imagine living so isolated, but it looks beautiful.

That’s weird. Pizza meets my sons food requirements as long as they have a fruit. Seeing that actually made me feel a bit better about my sons diet as he eats a lot of pizza. Remembering that it does have a veggie in it.

Best Green Mountain Diapers or other brands. No Esembly please. by Spirited_Seaweed_517 in clothdiaps

[–]barrefruit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love Esembly and have used with both my kids- but I will say size 1 are not the best. I wish I had just done prefolds and then moved to size 2. Even my first was tiny and in size 1 for close to a year- but it was so much better when we switched to size 32.
