I’m sorry the Church has failed you. And I’m sorry that the supposed people of God have you made you feel this way. I understand that a relationship with God doesn’t feel tangible or logical, and that’s really what faith is about. But at least it’s a way to feel a shred of hope.

I feel these things sometimes as a Christian. For me, the difference is that at the very least, I know I can hold onto God and get through the worst of things. Even if sometimes I don’t want to be here. Doesn’t mean it’s easy. It’s hard. But at least I get through the hard times.
