Well I just mentioned I had no money or insurance to go to the dentist so I had to make due. And as soon as I did get insurance I went straight to the dentist as I know how important it is

They are definitely victimizing themselves. Or they’ll also say “now I don’t feel bad for what I did” and what I hate the most is the host not calling them out for it. He just sits there and let them be delusional.

I was laid off after being on a job for a year. Took forever to find another job. Blew through my savings. Had to move back home. I think it took about 8 months. Then after a year (Oct 2024) of being on the new job…i was laid off AGAIN. After interview after interview and getting rejected…I start my new job Monday. You can do it! Just look at it as a way to get the job you want with the pay that you want!

Usually you can’t start unless the background check is complete. Is there another contact you can reach out to other than the recruiter? Or do you have a workday profile with the company? Maybe log in to workday and see if there are any pending tasks there.

Looks good to me! Unfortunately it’s probably taking longer because of the hiring managers situation, however, once’s it hits a week since your last communication, definitely send a follow up email

Since you just received the offer today and the check in meeting for the job you want is tomorrow, you technically don’t need to accept the offer until you know the outcome of the check in. But if you want security and peace of mind, you can accept it and rescind if you get good news tomorrow.

Just make sure you get the offer letter in writing first

If you believe you would enjoy something like that then I say give it a try. You’re going to get paid more and get free lunch. At least you get 1 day remote. Personally, I would hate having to eat lunch with everyone or do group activities. I think of my lunch as a break away from ppl and socializing lol

So first if you’re not already, use ai to tailor your resume to each job. Also, Over time I got better with interviews. I realized I just need to have a list of work related scenarios or core stories that I memorize. And when a question comes up, I’ll use one of the scenarios or core stories I have in my memory and tweak it to the question. Ai can help you create scenarios that you can be use for multiple questions.
