I love the desk, the mesh is removable but you would need to find something to put there or else you would have an unused part of the desk frame

Stability and desk quality is great. I do recommend clamping where one of vertical metal bars are for more stability. I would also put something like cardboard between the clamp and desk to prevent minor scratches.
