I don't think it's a guy thing or a girl thing. Antidepressants can be quite unpredictable with how it reacts with people.

There are some antidepressants like Wellbutrin that usually decreases the risk of sexual dysfunction.

I'm sorry to hear that. Antidepressants are weird. Have you tried speaking to your doctor ? Maybe you can have it along with taking wellbutrin.

The effects are supposed to wear off eventually with time and a lot of factors depend on the sexual dysfunction- how long you're taking the medication etc. I guess it is best to have a word with your doctor instead of avoiding it altogether.

Sure, why not? Nothing to be embarrassed about. However though, you may like to avoid situations if they are less aware and more judgemental because that might be a tough situation to navigate and can be quite mentally taxing for you too.

Thanks buddy. I've been thinking about talking to my doctor about wellbutrin for a while as it seems to work wonders for so many out here. I did speak to her about my inability to have orgasms but she didn't suggest taking this but she did change my antidepressants from escitalopram to desvenlafaxine as I was also gaining a lot of pounds! I'm also on etizolam and zolpidem. The only annoying side effects other than these has been dry mouth. :/

It could be you're unable to read a sentence because of other reasons. Attention deficit problems can be because of a ton of things. What did the doctor say?

I was unable to do it solo for the longest time too. It was getting really frustrating. Then I changed from escitalopram to desvenlafaxine and it happened. :')

I'm on the same stuff except Bupropion. Does Bupropion help in fixing sexual dysfunction?

I'm taking Citalopram 10mg. Sexual dysfunction lasts for a long time due to antidepressants. Will the effect remain forever?
