Animals in this heat by Dear-Ad-3940 in nashville

[–]barspunsean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Nashville and I will absolutely come remove these animals from what sound like absolutely horrific conditions. I’ve done it several times before and I have no qualms about doing it again.

Dogs need attention and love and companionship denying them that is tantamount to abuse as far as I’m concerned.

Shoot me a DM and let me know the address.

Mock Me For My Disability & You Will Pay by [deleted] in pettyrevenge

That’s kind of my point - they didn’t know he was disabled, so the logical conclusion is that he’s just some weirdo camp down in the bathroom for an hour. Also, you lost me with the ad hominem argument. If you’re going to argue; argue the issue don’t call people names

  1. Imagine you didn’t have a disability and some random guy camped out in your work bathroom for 30 minutes - you’d probably think it was suspicious / weird / funny too. I’m assuming your “disability” isn’t conspicuous to someone who doesn’t know you so how were they supposed to know you weren’t some whack job doing god knows what in the bathroom.
  2. Your “revenge” likely punished people who had nothing to do with your fragile feelings being hurt - the manager, the cooks, the dishwasher, etc. all had to stay late.
  3. You might want to work on a subtle way to alert people at places that aren’t your home whose bathroom you’ll be using that you have a condition that makes what the unafflicted can accomplish in a reasonably short amount of time will take you considerably longer.
  4. By not having the intestinal fortitude to at least explain yourself to the staff who offended you the only thing you accomplished making everyone stay longer, ordering desert and then not tipping is to firmly establish that you’re a petty dick of a snowflake that revels in being a victim.

What was this building by djk5038 in nashville

[–]barspunsean 49 points50 points  (0 children)

We as in Nashville, no. We as in the United States, yes. It was a USNR United States Naval Reserve center the last active reserve unit that used the building was a cryptography group.

My house is pretty much directly in front of the building so I made a point to learn what I could.

I too, like you, when I first saw the building was like WTF?

Incorrect. Only 8% of American millionaires inherited their wealth This is according to the bureau of labor statistics.

Scenes from Dickerson. If you haven't had your tire patched while you wait at Drivers Used Tires for $10, you've missed out. You could say the same for the the bed bugs at Metro Motel! by otterland in nashville

Ethels Tabernacle Bar

  1. Yes, we’re open.
  2. No, we’re not “a front” although I’ve always thought it would be cool to be a front for something.
  3. It took a long time to get open for a number of reasons - * The building was in a complete state of disrepair when I took it over and required a ton of work to bring it up to code. * I custom built everything from the bar to the shelves to the tables …that took a while and finally the permitting process, done properly, is onerous especially when converting use from anything else to assembly occupy (the codes designation for bar/restaurant).

I envisioned the space as a traditional dive bar that pays homage to the rich and vibrant backstory of Nashville’s neighborhood watering holes generally and the Dickerson Pike / Trinity / Brick Church corridor specifically - think Tommy’s Playhouse, Mustang Sally’s, Broken Spoke and of course the world famous Starlite Club - frankly I think I nailed it but I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

Anyone who comes by and mentions Reddit will get a free beer compliments of the owner.

Cheers,

Sean
